MHFA Refresher Course

Service Description

Empowering Mental Health First Aiders and MHFA Champions to maintain their skills with regular Refresher training. Just like physical first aid, MHFA England recommend that you refresh your skills every three years. By completing the course MHFAider® and Champions will have refreshed their knowledge of: Mental health and factors that influences it How to recognise the main signs of mental ill health How to approach and provide the initial help to individuals How to sign post the person towards appropriate professional help How to be mindful of and to maintain your own wellbeing Everybody who completes this course will now have access to continuous support – well beyond your initial certification – so you are confident, empowered and motivated to carry out your role. You will get three years’ access to MHFAider® support and benefits which includes 24/7 digital support through the MHFAider Support App®. From there, you will find exclusive resources, ongoing learning opportunities and the benefit of joining England’s largest community of trained MHFAiders®.

Cancellation Policy

The course materials will be sent out 14 days before the course booking, after this time refunds are not available. However if you are unable to attend the course on the day please let me know and we can reschedule for another day.
